Meet The Board
Tracy Faber is an LISW-S, RPT-S™ in West Chester, Ohio. She is the Clinical Director for Focus on Youth, Inc., a foster care, adoption, and behavioral health agency. In her spare time, Tracy loves to hike, camp, and sit outside by a campfire!
As President Elect, she is learning about national and state Association of Play Therapy in preparation for future presidency term.
Krista Long is an LISW-S, RPT-S™ in Fairfield, Ohio. She is a Mental Health Therapist in the International Adoption Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and a Contract Youth and Family Therapist at Focus on Youth. In her free time, Krista enjoys reading, hanging out with friends, hiking, being outdoors, and traveling. As the president for OAPT, she supervises and controls all business and affairs of the organization, as well as completes or delegates other tasks that ensure the organization's growth.
Tami Langen is an LISW-S and RPT-S™ in Columbus, Ohio. She is the Section Chief for Alcohol & Drug Services (Prevention & Treatment Services) at Columbus Public Health, where she moved to after 25 years in Butler County working with children and families in a nonprofit agency and private practice. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hanging out with her family, and traveling.
As the Past President for OAPT, she provides consultation to the Board as well as organizing Gold Branch requirements and Elections.
Jessica Warrick is an LPCC-S in Dayton, Ohio. She is the Staff Development Coordinator for Behavioral Health and Social Care at Dayton Children's Hospital. In her free time, she enjoys training her dog, cooking new recipes, and traveling!
As the Secretary/Treasurer for OAPT she develops budgets, tracks spending, and organizes documentation of meeting minutes and other branch needs to keep OAPT organized.
Tisha Way Gaynor
Tisha Way Gaynor is an LISW-S, RPT-S™ in Cincinnati. Tisha also has advanced training in CBT, PCIT, NMT, Theraplay, EMDR, and DBT. Tisha works as a therapist in the International Adoption Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Outside of work, Tisha enjoys long distance running, chasing after her toddler, and exploring the world.
As Membership Director, Tisha serves as primary contact for OAPT members and is available for any questions regarding membership benefits and renewals.
Megan Tritschler is an LPCC, RPT™ and is actively pursuing certification in Synergetic Play Therapy. She works at Conscious Roots Counseling, a private practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. Outside of work, Megan enjoys walking her dog, hiking, and exploring new places.
As Communications Director, Megan creates and sends the monthly newsletter, manages OAPT's social media accounts such as Facebook and Instagram, and updates the website as needed.
Continuing Education Director
Susan Davis is an LPCC, RPT™ in the Dayton area. She owns The Therapy Spot, a private practice in Dayton area and completes lethality/suicide assessments in the Behavioral Crisis Center at Dayton Children’s Hospital. In her spare time, Susan enjoys reading thrillers, hiking with her dogs, and trying new foodie restaurants with her husband!
As the Continuing Education Director for OAPT, Susan plans and coordinates annual conferences and approves play therapy CEs for other trainings in the area.
Assistant Continuing Education Director
Candace Ulitzsch is a LISW-S, RPT-S™, Certified Synergetic Play Therapist in West Chester, Ohio. She is a clinical director at Catalyst Counseling as well as a school based therapist at an early elementary school. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog - Gus, traveling, reading, finishing house projects, and learning - she is currently working towards NMT Phase 1 Certification.
As the Assistant Continuing Education Director for OAPT, she assists with approving play therapy proposals for APT CE along with planning and executing OAPT’s Fall & Spring Conferences. She works with vendors, speakers, and attendee to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Outreach and Engagement Director
Machen Champion is an LPCC-S, RPT-S™, Certified Synergetic Play Therapist and owns her practice, Wired to Bloom Therapy & Consulting, LLC, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Outside of work, Machen loves to read, play ultimate frisbee, and explore new restaurants.
Machen is the Outreach & Engagement Director and her primary responsibilities include supporting OAPT members in building connections to others across the state, increasing member engagement within OAPT, and advocating for the healing powers of play through connecting with therapists, universities, agencies, etc. in Ohio.
